The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer Solar Chronograph SSC813 combines precision engineering with sustainable solar power technology. The new series also includes four new solar chronographs powered by Caliber V192. The case shape is faithful to the original but its 39mm diameter, the combination of hairline and smooth polishing on the bracelet and the curved sapphire glass bring it right up to date. These new solar chronographs are offered in four different dial colors; white, navy, gold and black. Their dials have a sandblast finish which ensures the high level of legibility that is a core characteristic of every Prospex watch. All four watches will also join the main Prospex collection.
Inspired by Seiko's first chronographs from the mid 19060s, the Prospex SSC813 has classic looks and modern features. It's powered by a Caliber V192 movement that charges via light, eliminating the need for battery replacements and offering a six-month power reserve. It runs lumed hour and minute hands, along with a chronograph seconds hand, three sub-dials, and a date window at 4:30. The panda dial is complemented by a black tachymeter bezel and a 39mm stainless steel case with a matching bracelet.
