Bringing together two pillars of TAG Heuer’s history – automobile and aviation – the Autavia dates back to 1933 and was originally used for dashboard timers for cars and aircraft.

The name was then bestowed on the brand’s legendary collection created in 1962 for authentic free spirits who live life as an adventure.

VINTAGE DESIGN, STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY

Pairing a 42mm steel case with a smoked black ceramic bezel and a steel bracelet, this high performance model is inspired by the brand’s mid-century pilot watches.

Driven by the COSC certified calibre 5 movement, the smoked black dial features luminescent hands and hour markers for maximum legibility, as well as a date display at 6 o’clock.

XL CROWN FOR EFFORTLESS HANDLING EVEN WITH GLOVES

Ease of use and optimal legibility inform the Autavia dial and case design. The numerals and hands are coated with white Super-LumiNova®. The turning bezel is bidirectional.

The clear dial has its date window at the bottom of the dial. The broad, pointed sword hands call to mind classic pilot’s watches.
